    1. Per night I’d say I get about 7-8 hours of sleep each night.

    2. It is easy for me to fall asleep because after a long day I just want to go home and sleep but first there is homework to be done and after that, I shower and sleep right away. In the morning it is hard to wake up because I do not want to go to school and stay in my bed all comfortable because it feels as if my bed glues itself to me each night.

    3. I feel tired in the morning because 7-8 hours is not enough for me and I feel at least 10-11 hours would be better.

    4. I am actually sleepy during the day because in some of my classes, the teachers can talk for days and it is just like give me work so i can stay awake and listen. Sometimes, I am sleepy in English, History, or Religion.

    2. It can be really difficult for me to get sleep a night because I like to stay up and also i like my free time that i get after i finish my homework. It is really difficult for me to wake up in the morning most of the times because i don’t get enough sleep the night before and i love my bed.

    2. Sometimes it is extremely easy for me to go to sleep, but other times it takes me close to and hour to go to sleep.
    3. I would say I feel well rested. But once I hit the shower I am wide awake.
    4. I am usually not tired during the day. But when I am not feeling well, in History, and sometimes English I get tired.
    5. I have never fell asleep in class.

    7. No, during the weekend I always have to be doing something. If I am not golfing, playing volleyball, ultimate frisbee, or not on my trampoline I would be annoyed.

    On average during the school year, I think I get about 6 or 7 hours of sleep each night.

    It is usually very easy for me to fall asleep. This is because I wake up at 6 in the morning for school every day. When I finally get home, I have a lot of homework to do. By the end of the day, I am exhausted. I am so tired, that I look forward to going to sleep. Waking up in the morning is really hard for me. To be honest, I think I would be late a lot if I didn’t have my mom there for me in the mornings to make sure I leave on time. I just don’t get enough sleep on weekdays.

    I always feel tired when I wake up in the morning. With 6-7 hours of sleep, I am still tired. I feel even more tired as the week progresses because I am going on a longer time with not enough sleep. I think I also feel tired in the mornings because I am waking up for school. I’m going somewhere by force which is not fun. Whenever I wake up early to go to six flags, I always get up without a problem.

    During the day I do get sleepy. I often get sleepy during first period. This is because it is my first class of a long day. It is also an extra 20 minutes so that makes me sleepy as well. However, I do get sleepy throughout the day. I can’t really pinpoint a time period though except for first period.

    I have fallen asleep during class but not a particular class. I am more likely to fall asleep during first period regardless of the class. First period is simply early for me so I have more of a chance to fall asleep then.

    I do feel the most sleepy during first period. I am most alert when the 8th period bell rings ending last period. I have slept in 8th period once and when the bell woke me up, I felt wide awake simply because I realized the school day was over.

    I am not as sleepy on weekends and during school vacations as I am during the school week. This is because on weekends and on vacations, I don’t have to worry about school the next day. I am able to sleep in and take my time with what needs to be done. There is also less stress.

    I would say that I sleep for eight or more hours on the weekends. During the week I never get to sleep for that long. There is simply too much to be done.

    I have noticed “attention lapses” and “cognitive declines” when I regularly sleep less than eight hours. I often find myself tired throughout the school day at various times. When it I getting late and I am still doing work I also feel very tired. This does not happen to me on the weekend when I sleep for eight hours or more.
    10. How do you make up for lack of sleep?
    I make up for lack of sleep on the weekends and on days off. That is my main time to catch up on sleep. Sophomore year I used to sleep in class a lot and that would help me make up for sleep, but I haven’t been sleeping in class a lot this year.

    I don’t think there is anything I can do to ensure more sleep. If I went to bed earlier, I wouldn’t be able to get all my work done. My work is something I need to get done. A lot of work is given in high school and this is just how things are. Some things can’t be changed.

    1) I would have to say that on average I get about 8 hours of sleep a night.
    2) It is very easy for me to fall asleep because everyday i try to do some type of physical activity which drains my body and i sleep quicker. It is hard for me to get up in the mornings, i always try to get an extra 10 minutes and dont want to get up.
    3) When i initially wake up i feel extremely exhausted and lazy and can be at times cranky in the mornings. But as more time passes by and I leave my house i get the hit of the air and feel more awake.
    4) I tend to be sleepy sometimes after lunch and usually towards the middle of first period since its the longest period and can go by slowly.
    5) I actually fall asleep towards the beginning of the school year in my U.S history class becuase I was still adjusting to the sleeping hours but i usually dont fall asleep in class.
    6) I am sleepy towards the beginning of the day, I am most alert in gym class and lunch time basically for the periods i want to have.
    7) I am not sleepy during the weekends because every saturday i wake up early for my baseball double headers so I am used to it by now and during school vacations i tend to be a little more tired.
    8) I probably get more than 8 hours of sleep maybe 2 times a week not that often i usually sleep for 8 hours not over.
    9) This school year i havent really had these attention lapses but the past two years i have and I have to say i am sleeping more this year than my last two years in highschool.
    10) I usually like to rest a little when i get home from playing sports for maybe an hour or two and then start my homework.

    2.Its very easy for me to wake up in the morning , i wake up automattically with no alarm.

    I think I get about 5 or 6 hours of sleep during the school year.

    It’s pretty easy for me to go to sleep because during the day I’m pretty active so once I’m home laying on my bed I tend to knock out quickly. To wake up in the morning is pretty hard for me. I enjoy sleeping and I’m not such a morning person so it takes me a while to officially wake up.

    I feel tired when I wake up in the morning because of the minimum hours I have slept. However, I feel that when I go to sleep around 10pm rather than 12am I wake up more tired than usual.

    I dont fall asleep but I do begin to close my eyes and doze off. It’s usually around 10 in the morning or whenever I have History.

    The certain time is 10am when I feel sleepy. The certain time of the day when I feel most alert is around 12, which is when I have lunch.

    No, during vacations or weekends I feel alert and functional, this can be because I get to catch up on my much needed sleep. During school weeks theres not enough time to have a good night sleep because of homework, clubs, etc.

    I make up for lack of sleep by either napping when i have time to or just by sleeping more on the weekends because it freshens me up and makes me feel brand new. Also sometimes I try to go to sleep earlier but sometimes that is impossible because of all the homework I have.

    What I think I can do to ensure more sleep is by going to sleep earlier. Do all my homework and other things earlier so I can just relax in my bed until I fall asleep. However, sometimes theres not a way I can ensure my sleep when basketball season starts because of practice hours and homework, it takes up the majority of the time that I should be sleeping.

    It depends on my day . If i had a long day at school or basketball practice then it takes me just about 2 minutes to fall asleep but if its just a regular day at school then it takes about 30 min for me to fall asleep . Every morning most of the time i feel good and its pretty easy for me to wake because i have my alarm that wakes me up at 7:45 .

    I normally feel tired every morning but by the time i get out the shower most of the time i feel awake and refreshed .

    It not that easy for me to go to sleep unless im exhuasted, for example i go to sleep around 11 and ill stay up for about 30 mins just thinking, its hard for me to fall asleep. Its not that easy for me to wake up in the morning, i usually wake up really grumpy because im tired.

    I generally feel really tired in the morning.

    No i have never fallen asleep during a class even if im really tired i cant manage to go to sleep for some reason, what i usually do is just put my head down and close my eyes but do not fall asleep.

    Yes the certain times of the day when i feel sleep are in the morning 8-10am. When i feel the most alert is 11am-6pm.

    2. To fall asleep is it quite easy takes me about 2-10 minutes depending on how active I was throughout the day. To wake up in the morning, I automatically wake up because my body is simply used to it but even after showering I feel exhausted.

    -Normally it is very difficult for me to go to sleep. I find it harder for me to go to sleep when I have a test the next day because I normally stay up extra late to study. But it is easy for me to wake up in the morning.

    -In the morning I usually feel sleepy when I wake up in the morning. I just love feeling comfortable in my bed. But although I don’t want to wake up in the morning, it isn’t that difficult for me to get out of bed.

    -I’m normally sleepy in homeroom but when the day classes begin, I wake up and I become very active and hyper. But I do find myself to be most sleepy when I’m bored or uninterested in a class.

    -I have never fallen asleep during a class. I can’t take the chance of missing important notes.

    -No. During the school week I feel more tired and stressed at the end of the day. On the weekends or school vacations I feel very relaxed and I don’t get as tired as I do during school. During the school week I get tired very fast.

    -To ensure more sleep, you can turn off your phones, computers, and iPods, etc. Another way you can ensure more sleep is by drinking “sleepy time” tea before going to sleep.

    It can be difficult to get sleep in the the week, and mornings are simply horrifying.

    At first I feel tired but if I managed to wake up I’ll be okay.

    Homeroom is very exhausting and so is first period.

    On averege I think I get about 6-7 hours 8-9 on a “good” night

    It is normally easy for me to go to sleep during a school night because I usually have a busy day at school, but it is hard in the mornings because I love sleep and never want to get out of my bed in the morning.

    I find it weird but when I go to sleep late and I wake up early I feel rested in the morning but when I sleep early and wake up the same time I feel tired.
    4) I get sleepy during the day. Its usually sometimes towards the ending of the day.
    5) I used to fall asleep in class most of the time last year when I had Earth Science.
    6) I dont have a certain time I think it depends on the class and the mood of the class.
    7) I do get as sleepy as I am during a break or vacation as I am during the school week but thats only at the begining because I think I catch up on sleep after a couple of days.
    8) Sometimes I do feel me drifting my mind out in space sometimes and I think it affects me in class sometimes because I don’t think I pay as much attention to certain things as I should.

    2. It’s pretty easy for me to fall asleep but when i have a lot on my mind it is difficult at times. Waking up is a battle for me.
    3. I feel exhausted in the morning because im still exhausted from the day before. Therefore I feel the exhaustion just adds on daily.
    4. I get sleepy around 2:25 when we are dismissed from school.
    5. I haven’t really fell asleep in class at all actually .
    6. I feel really tired at like 10:00 if there is nothing on my mind. I feel most alert on the train because i’m constantly watch my surroundings and environment.

    8. Weekends i tend to sleep 8 to 9 hours and on the weekdays I tend to sleep 5 to 6 hours.
    9.No I’m surprised I don’t but i do feel fatigue at times.
    10. I make up for my lack of sleep by sleeping on the weekends as much as possible.
    11. I could probably take a more nonchalant approach to things and go to sleep earlier on weekdays.

To wake up in the morning, I automatically wake up because my body is simply used to it but even after showering I feel exhausted. 3. Explain I normally feel tired every morning but by the time i get out the shower most of the time i feel awake and refreshed . 4. Are you ever sleepy during the day?When? I feel the most alert during lunch because thats when everyone is getting loud and your hanging out with your friends . 7. Im just as sleep sometimes even more because i have basketball practice every day and every time i get home i always fall right to sleep . I think i would have to manage my sleep cycle . To fall asleep is it quite easy takes me about 2-10 minutes depending on how active I was throughout the day. To wake up in the morning, I automatically wake up because my body is simply used to it but even after showering I feel exhausted. 3. I feel pretty tired in the morning because throughout the night I wake up about 3-5 times a night. 4. I’m always sleepy throughout the day, even if I’m well rested.
